# ADR 003 — Persistent backend for DigiDala

## Context

The browser-only prototype cannot provide shared state or authoritative ownership.
DigiDala needs a server-side source of truth.

## Decision

Use a small Node.js HTTP API with SQLite, repository classes, SQL migrations, and
server-side Telegram Mini App identity validation.

## Consequences

- Cell ownership becomes authoritative on the server.
- SQLite is sufficient for the first single-VPS stage.
- The architecture leaves room for later replacement/scale-out without moving
  business rules into SQL.
